Peugeot’s manufacturer warranty extends to both passenger and commercial vehicles, providing peace of mind. As an authorised Peugeot service centre we are equipped to handle the work covered under these warranties.
Covers defective parts for 5 years or 100,000 km (whichever occurs first), except parts that are subject to normal wear and tear (e.g. brake pads). Warranty contents include repair or free replacement of defective parts and reimbursement of breakdown or towing fees if a breakdown occurs that is covered by the warranty.
Covers defects in the paintwork or lacquer on the original bodywork for 3 years. Warranty contents include partial or total respraying or re-lacquering to rectify the defect.
Covers perforation: corrosion of the bodywork from the inside to the outside for 12 years for passenger cars or 5 years for commercial vehicles. Contents of the warranty include repair or replacement of the defective parts where the corrosion is visible.
On top of the aforementioned coverage, electric and hybrid vehicles also have an 8-year / 160,000km warranty for their traction battery, for 70% of its charge capacity.

In the event of an incident post-purchase (breakdown, paint defect, perforation in the bodywork) visit Hawke’s Bay Peugeot Service Centre with your maintenance and warranty manual. As authorised Peugeot technicians, we are able to assess whether the defect is eligible for repair under Peugeot’s manufacturer warranty.
Should you experience a breakdown, contact Peugeot Roadside Assistance at 0800 738 436. Our experts will promptly address the situation, covering all costs of the breakdown or towing service until you reach the nearest Peugeot service centre (within a maximum radius of 100 km). If your car requires repairs exceeding two hours, your Peugeot technician will arrange alternative transportation to ensure your journey continues smoothly.
Extended kilometre warranties are available for your Peugeot commercial vehicle. You can opt for a warranty extension at the time of your van’s initial registration. If interested, simply reach out to the team at Hawke’s Bay Peugeot.
Your warranty is transferable to the new owner of your vehicle and the same conditions apply for the remainder of the contract.
