Call 0800 929 394 or use the Suzuki Assist app’s ‘Request Assistance’ button. The phone operator will ask you for your name, location, license plate number, description of the problem and if possible, a mobile phone number to contact you on. The Suzuki Assist app automatically detects your location via GPS and to help our service agents get you assistance as soon as possible. Download it from Google Play or the App Store to ensure you’re prepared whenever you need help.

What does Suzuki Assist cover?

Suzuki Assist is here all day, every day to help you when you need it.
  • 24-hour breakdown assistance

    No matter where you are in New Zealand, you can call 0800 929 394 or use the ‘Request Assistance’ button on the Suzuki Assist app 24/7 to contact a contractor for roadside repairs or towing.

  • Free tow to safety

    If your vehicle has a mechanical breakdown that cannot be repaired on the spot, it will be towed to the nearest Suzuki Dealer or, in metro areas, to the dealer of your choice at no charge.

  • Flat tyre assistance

    Suzuki Assist will change your flat tyre with your vehicle’s spare, or tow your vehicle to the nearest facility if repair isn’t possible.

  • Battery repairs

    Suzuki Assist will attempt to jump start your vehicle or tow it to the nearest authorised Suzuki service centre. If the battery is faulty, it will be replaced free of charge under warranty.

  • Emergency fuel

    Suzuki Assist will arrange an emergency top-up of up to 5 litres of fuel or assist you to reach the nearest refuelling station.

  • Technical advice

    Call our toll-free number for immediate technical advice if warning lights appear or you have concerns about your vehicle.

  • Key assistance

    Suzuki Assist will arrange emergency access or replacement keys if you lose or lock them in your vehicle. Key replacement may take up to 36 hours

    Caravan/trailer towing

    Towing is provided for caravans or trailers towed by your vehicle if it breaks down, with transport to the nearest Suzuki Dealer or, in metro areas, to the dealer of your choice.

  • Temporary side glass replacement

    If a side glass window breaks, a temporary flexi side glass window will be supplied and fitted to secure your vehicle until a permanent replacement can be made.

  • Emergency taxi (under 100 km)

    In case of a warranty-related breakdown that can’t be repaired on the spot, a taxi up to $100 (GST inclusive) will be provided for you and your companions.

  • Overnight accommodation (over 100 km)

    If warranty repairs take over eight hours and you’re more than 100 km from home, accommodation up to $120 per night (GST inclusive) for up to three nights may be provided.

  • Rental car

    For warranty repairs over eight hours and more than 100 km from home, you qualify for a rental car up to three days at $120 per day (GST inclusive). If no accommodation is taken, the rental period can extend to six days.

  • Emergency contacts

    Suzuki Assist will coordinate communication with friends, family, or business contacts if you’re in an accident or your vehicle breaks down.

  • Accident coordination

    Suzuki Assist provides advice on handling accidents and arranges towing to your preferred repairer. Towing costs for accidents are not covered.

  • Emergency medical assistance

    In an accident, Suzuki Assist can connect you with medical staff, arrange transport to medical facilities, and coordinate with relatives and family physicians.

  • Legal advice

    Suzuki Assist offers legal advice on accidents or ownership issues, including buying or selling your vehicle.

  • Selling your vehicle

    Suzuki Assist provides legal advice on vehicle ownership issues, such as buying or selling a vehicle.
